Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Had a few friends over for the day last weekend, and decided a casserole was in order. Throwing SH!T in a pan and putting it in the oven is always a time saver. As much as I love standing in the kitchen, spending time with friends always wins.
This would make a great freezer meal too. Turned out great, for not having a recipe handy. I would suggest mixing everything in a bowl instead of the dish thou.

Chicken Parmesan Casserole Recipe : Serves 6

Onion 1/2 half diced
Garlic 2 gloves diced
Chicken breast/tenders 1 pound
Brown Rice Spiral noodles 1 bag
Marinara One bottle or 16 oz homemade
Ground Parmesan 1/4 cup
Mozzarella Enough to cover top

Pan 9 x 13
Oven Set at 350°

Cook your noodles as per the kind/brand you have, while prepping the rest. Chop and brown first three ingredients, you can do this separately or not. I don’t think it will matter a lot. I like caramelized onions so I do those first then add the rest.
In a bowl or the pot you browned the other ingredients in, mix together all but the mozzarella.
Pour into casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake 20 minutes at 350.
